Nayland College Senior Boys Basketball off to National Championships!
Having not been given much of a chance to even make it out of their pool at the recent South Island Secondary Schools Basketball Championships, with a top 6 finish, the Nayland College Senior A Boys Basketball team have qualified for The National Championship to be held in Palmerston North later this month
This awesome team of young men now need to raise over $10,000 in less than 3 weeks to attend this tournament - a pretty tall order.
This is a team of 12 incredibly hard working, motivated young men (aged 15 - 18 yrs old), who should all feel incredibly proud of the mahi they've put in, the superb sportsmanship they have demonstrated throughout the season and the awesome team culture they have.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
