Changes for NBus from Monday 30 July
There will be some timetable changes on all routes so grab a copy of the new timetable from the depot in Bridge Street, on the bus or from the Council office in Trafalgar Street. You can also see it all online at nbus.co.nz.
Some services will be leaving earlier and some slightly later so please check the new timetable to avoid missing the bus or having a longer wait!
A new Stoke loop is back on the road from 30 July too. The updated service runs five times every weekday. It starts from the Tennis Courts at Main Road Stoke and travels around the suburb between Saxton Road East, Quarantine Road, The Ridgeway and Seaview Road.
The buses leave at 9.15, 10.15, 11.15, 1.15 and 2.15 every weekday so get on board.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
