The Waimea Dam

Lew from Hope

The Water Information Network is holding a series of public meetings to present an unbiased summary of the issues surrounding the proposed Waimea Dam and its funding.  All are welcome.  We will to the best of our ability attempt to answer all questions asked.  Meetings are at the Headingly Centre Richmond on Mon 30 Oct at 7 pm, the Public Hall Brightwater Tue 31 Oct at 7:15 pm, the Motueka High School Wed 1 Nov at 7 pm, the Collingwood Church Hall Thu 2 Nov at 2pm and the Takaka Senior Citizens Hall Thu 2 Nov at 7pm.  Nelson residents please note that this affects you too; TDC wants NCC to stump up with $M5 towards this project.

Where possible, do you think employees should be able to work from home? Vote below and share your thoughts in the comments.
