Schools fear job cuts without timeline for return of international students

Katy Jones Reporter from The Nelson Mail

High school principals in the Nelson region say they will be forced to consider cutting staff and programmes if they don't have a timeline soon for a return of international students. The principals say there is capacity in the region for the students to quarantine here, and the Government needs to make a decision about how the students can be brought back in safely. Do you think we should let international students back in to the country?

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
