Daily fresh milk in Lower Moutere
When was the last time you had a cup of REALLY fresh milk?
Riverside Milk comes fresh from the morning milking and is ready for consumption once the team has filled it into the vending machine around lunchtime. We follow the European model of providing raw milk straight from the farm to the table.
Get your milk whenever you want! Our milk vending service is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply bring a clean bottle, put your coins (or notes) into the vending machine and receive daily fresh, whole cream milk.
$3 a litre. At Riverside Milk (next to Riverside Cafe), 289 Main Road Lower Moutere. 7 minute drive from Motueka High Street.
See you soon...
Please note that Riverside Milk is raw milk. The Ministry of Primary Industries requires all raw milk providers to advise of the following: 'Raw milk may contain Microorganisms that can cause serious illness. To reduce the risk of illness, the raw milk should be heated to at least 70 degrees celcius for at least one minute. This is critical for infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.*

'Write for Rights', Saturday 7 December from 2.00 to 4.30pm
'Write for Rights' is timed to celebrate Human Rights Day on 10 December. This is the world’s biggest human rights event, a moment when Amnesty International’s movement of ten million comes together as one to take action and stand up for freedom, justice and equality.
Collective action pressures authorities around the world to bring those responsible for human rights abuses to justice, and free people wrongfully imprisoned.
We'll be gathering as we do every year, to write letters and send messages of support to victims of human rights abuses around the world.
Venue: Friends Meeting House, 30 Nile St, Nelson.
Date: Saturday 7 December, from 2 to 4.30pm
Please bring a small contribution for a shared afternoon tea. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Please encourage others concerned about human rights issues to come - all welcome!
RSVP: to Karen du Fresne, Amnesty International Planning Committee Email: kdufresne8@gmail.com by Monday 2 December.
