Battle for the Banded Rail

Cally Stockdale from Nelson Tasman Climate Forum

Battle for the Banded Rail has a planting morning this Sunday, 11 July 9am - 1pm at Maisey Embayment. Parking and access is from 364 The Coastal Highway (between Pukeko Lane and Westdale Road). Look out for our flag here.

If you are approaching from the Richmond direction we recommend you make a u-turn at Westdale Road.

Bring gloves, spade if you have one and drinking water. Wear solid footwear and clothes suitable for the weather conditions. Morning tea will be provided. All volunteers are welcome and there are jobs other than digging.

If the weather is not good, we will cancel by 8am on the day. However, if it is just doubtful or light rain we will go ahead.
