rock n roll dresses/tops and more dresses

Sheila from Richmond

Looking for that last minute party dress? I have a couple of "rock n roll" dresses and others, including a warm winter coat, which I no longer require. Most of them worn once only, so they are like new. Size depends on your fitting i.e. mostly small. These could also fit a size 8 to 10. Come along and try them on. Viewing after 5pm or as conveniently arranged. Prices vary starting from $5.00 to $30 - just want them to find a good home and make someone feel special this Christmas/New Year party. One dress still has label on from Farmers - never worn. Cherry dress bought from Gizmos Richmond, worn only once. Red and green rockabilly scarves as new. Micky mouse dress only $5.00. Individual photos on request. Message me if you are keen. The clothing is from a smoke free home and well looked after. As I go through my cupboards I will be selling more things, all sorts of things not in use. Thank you for your interest.
I am trying to raise some funds for my greyhound pet who is 6 years old, who has no tear ducts, requiring medication 4 to 5 times a day for the rest of his life.

Better Endings Project: How to support care of the dying and create compassionate communities

Krisca Gould from Nelson Tasman Hospice

We have a few spaces left for this course on Wednesday.

This course is primarily aimed at people who find themselves supporting & caring for people with serious illness & approaching end of life or those anticipating this situation.

What is the Better Endings Project?

Many people want to die at home, yet in New Zealand most die in institutions like hospitals and nursing homes. The Better Endings Project helps to educate the community about the basics of caring for dying people.

What does Nelson Tasman Hospice offer?

This simple course aims to create awareness and discussion on topics related to death and dying. The facilitators will aim to give practical tips on how you can provide comfort to someone who is dying, and what you can do to plan for your own and your family's future. It is an interactive course for up to 20 participants.

Participants will learn:

- What normal dying looks like
- How compassionate communities can improve care of dying
- Why end of life planning is important and what resources are available
- Simple measures to provide comfort at end of life
- About the sanctity of the last hours/days of life and how to cope and support others after death
