at NCC meeting this Thursday 12th August 2021
What’s happening now?
On Thursday council will decide whether to support the developer’s application to the government’s Infrastructure Acceleration Fund for the Maitai /Maitahi /Mahitahi /Kaka Valley subdivision. The report will be presented to councillors and Save the Maitai will be speaking to this at the public forum.
Please come along to the Council Chamber to support the speakers and remind councillors that we don’t want urbanisation in the Maitai. Bring a big sign!!! You may like to stay longer at the meeting to hear Council’s consideration of the application.

Before Thursday write to your councillors telling them what you think. You can reach them all by email at: councillors@ncc.govt.nz
Meet outside the council offices on Trafalgar St, by 9.15am on Thursday.

The Save the Maitai speaking time is 9.35 to 9.45 am. If there is not enough room inside the council chamber, they have arranged the overflow room and the foyer.
