NZ Red Cross Street Appeal 2021
From the 15th to the 21st of March NZ Red Cross is holding our annual street appeal throughout New Zealand. On Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th of March we will be hitting the streets of Hastings, Havelock North, Taradale, Napier and Central Hawkes Bay to ask you to dig deep and help to support the vulnerable in your community.
We have had a number of awesome volunteers come forward to collect but we have a couple of last minute sites we are keen to fill if you can give us an hour or two of your time.
If you are available for any of these shifts please either email amber.mcarthur@redcross.org.nz or give the Service Centre a call on 06 878 8438.

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
