chlorine-free Napier

Pauline from Hospital Hill

This Tuesday’s council meeting could be the turning point - Christchurch will be chlorine-free by the end of June. On 4th June NCC councillors will decide whether or not to work with Christchurch and find out how they are able to deliver healthy, safe drinking water with NO CHLORINE added. NCC deliberations start @10.15am - chlorine-free water is due to be discussed "late morning" according to council staff. Napier War Memorial Centre, Marine Parade. Come and support the councillors who oppose the current policy of permanent chlorination which is being driven by CEO Wayne Jack and Bill Dalton.
