There was a long time when at Napier Pac and Save buying some carrots in the self service section would trigger a security alert for the shop assistant to check out your honesty. Today it was buying some loose onions that triggered the security alert to be checked out for theft by misrepresentation by the shop assistant. It is probably best to be mildly amused at being suspected of being a thieve rather than irritated.
Any thoughts on this.
