Ballet Classes starting SOON!
We're at Level 1 (woohoo🥳) so let's get cracking!
From the start of the 3rd term (20 July), my offering of ballet classes will commence in Napier:
PRE-BALLET for tots aged 4 - 5 years: a creative exploration of space and development of musicality, coordination, imagination and love of movement while instilling a sturdy foundation for ballet technique.
RAD PRE-PRIMARY IN DANCE (5 -6 years); The first level of the Royal Academy of Dance syllabi. Beautiful music, creative choreography and loads of room for developing expression through dance.
TEEN BEGINNER BALLET (12+ years) for those who wish they'd tried before or perhaps did a few classes when they were very much littler and would like to give it another bash.
ADULT OPEN BALLET CLASSES (Beginner to Advanced level): Let me know what ballet/dancing you've done before - if any - and we'll take it from there!
"NEVER-TOO-OLD" BALLET for ages 55+ ... or even for those with knee/ankle issues who don't particularly want to jump and leap, but would love to enjoy the grace, creativity and flow of dance while building strength. (Tutus and tiaras always welcome 😉!)
Please message/email me (dancewithcarmennz@gmail.com) for more information or to chat about where you might best fit in.
Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut
This Wednesday, we are having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.
John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcut’s #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharp—whether it’s on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!
As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!
John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
