Debbie Bryan from Marewa Pharmacy

This year Carter and his family have decided to give back, after battling with illness since birth Carter has had a goal to raise $5000 for his 5th birthday to give back to what he calls his second home 0 The Ronald McDonald House. Carter was born with a rare condition called Alagilles which affects the function of some of the body's major organs. Carter had a liver transplant in 2015 and has also undergone treatment for a wilmes tumour in 2017. Although Carter will always battle with his health this year has been one of the best years for him, He has hit so many milestones and is now getting ready for his 5th birthday, one birthday we didn't think he would make. Carter has spent more than 200 nights at The Ronald McDonald House over the last 4 years and as a way of celebrating turning 5, Carter wanted to give back to those who have helped him.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
