Pigs for sale
We are moving into town and have to find homes for our pigs, a 5 year old sow and 4 year old boar. Both are large white Duroc cross breeds. They are very quiet.
Darius, the boar won 2nd prize at HB Show for best pork on the hoof as a 6 month old piglet. He loves having his tummy tickled.
Mrs Piggy, the sow, is running with the boar at the moment and should be farrowing in October.
They have had 7 litters of between 10-12 piglets. Included in the photos are some of their offspring. The sow is $300 and Darius is $350 or near offers
Pick up is near Puketapu. Please contact Helen on 0220795133 for more information or to view.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
