Kolachi's environmental footprint
At Kolachi we try our best to reduce our environmental footprint 👣 and source from local or NZ owned suppliers ➡️
✖️ instead of plastic straws we use metal
✖️instead of single use plastic bottled drinks we have have glass bottles drinks from Karma Cola
✖️we use bees wax wraps instead of cling film to wrap our sweets
✖️we have wooden cutlery instead of plastic for our takeaway food
✖️ our takeaway containers are plant based and are made from sustainably sourced trees, from managed plantations 🌲
✖️our coffee cups, lids, coffee cup holders and napkins are all plant based and compostable from Innocent packaging
✖️and we source our coffee from a local supplier at Hawthorne coffee roasters

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
