Market on Saturday
Our Xmas evening Market on the 17th November was exciting and very busy. We had 40 stalls and a big crowd through. Santa was kept very busy and it was lots of fun. In case you missed that market, or maybe didn't get to finish all that Xmas shopping, we have one last market before Xmas at our usual time - 1st December (next Saturday) from 10 - 2. There are still loads of stalls booked, sausage sizzle, Heaven's Bakery caravan on site and even pizza and mini Xmas Mince pies from the kitchen. Santa plans to drop by from 10.30 - 12.30 so come along and buy local, buy quality, buy unique and have lots of fun doing it. There'll also be a Xmas hamper to be won - every purchase gets an entry for the draw.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
