Craft Group

Lynne from Pirimai

I have a couple of spots available in the craft group that I run during school terms. Due to the hot weather we have decided to cancel term one and resume once the temperature had cooled off. It has a $2 cover charge used to fund the resources used. During the term people coming to the group are offered a variety of projects - most spanning a couple of weeks. Resources to complete these projects are supplied. People are welcome to bring there own crafts and just enjoy the company of others if they do not want to do the craft on offer. It is held at Trinity Methodist Church on Clive square on Friday mornings. We are privileged to have the use of their lounge but the group does not have any form of "religion" attached to it. Spaces are limited. Message me for further information.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
