🎅 Harcourts Christmas Parade 🎅

Santa's coming to town on Sunday 1 December for the Harcourts Christmas Parade with over 50 displays and floats, plus pipe bands, marching groups, mascots - and of course Mr Claus himself! Start time is 1pm, followed by a Christmas Fiesta between 1.30-3.00pm at Lower Emerson Street and Clive Memorial Square. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
