Hi All. Yes, we've moved from 707 Sylvan Road, to the the A&P Showgrounds, and much bigger premises, bigger workshops, bigger projects, and bigger hopes of helping the Hastings Community with their big or little problems. Our charges range from Cakes, biscuits, $donations, and your word of mouth Adverts about us to your friends and neighbours. With 70 (odd) retired members, with a wealth of knowledge, and now women members, there are not many problems we cannot solve. (Above, I used the word ODD, which can be taken any way you like). Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
