Please take care with stock around the reopened Napier - Wairoa railway line!
Kia ora neighbours! The line's open and we're looking forward to freight trains travelling along it soon. But… trains and stock don't mix. So, please round up those wandering herds! And keep yourself and your stock safe: if you’re moving animals across the rail corridor (the tracks and land five metres either side) you need to use an approved private level crossing (with a Deed of Grant). Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
