Internet Banking Workshops by SeniorNet Napier
Do you mistrust internet banking? We are running a two hour workshop on Fridays from 09:30 to 11:30. Check below for dates.
It’s fun manipulating a mock bank account online and you need attend only one 2 hour workshop to become confident enough and sure of its security to immediately afterwards register for this convenient facility with your bank/s.
For 2022 the six week terms are as follows:
Term 1: 7th Feb. - 18th Mar.. Term 2: 11th Apr. - 20th May. Term 3: 13th Jun. - 22nd Jul..
Term 4: 15th Aug. - 23rd Sep.. Term 5: 17th Oct. - 25th Nov..

Cost : $5 per person for a 2 hour workshop. Includes tea/coffee and printed notes.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
