If you want to feel humbled by your own attempts at Christmas cheer, take a drive past Liam and Kim Dawson’s place. Or better still stroll past and enjoy real snow – this year there’s a new snow machine on order.
The Queenstown couple just love Christmas. Everywhere they have lived, starting with their home in England, they have pushed the boat out, gaining a reputation for their Christmas displays. And for the past two years, the display has been in Woodstock Road, Upper Shotover. You can’t miss it – even passengers flying into Queenstown Airport after dark can see this one.
