Do you enjoy working with new parents and babies?
Would you have 4 hours a week to spare?
We are looking for a couple of volunteers to be part of our support team for mums or dads and their first babies. There is a programme that runs for approximately 2 hours each week and requires some time for setting and packing up.
There is an increasing number of your families wanting to be part of our very successful "Space for you and your baby" which is rapidly growing and we need a couple of additional helpers. If this sounds like you please contact Jan on 0274521366 or pukekohecommunityaction@xtra.co.nz
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
