MIDDLEMORE FOUNDATION PYJAMA DRIVE
MIDDLEMORE FOUNDATION PYJAMA DRIVE
CAN WE DO IT? OF COURSE WE CAN! IF WE WORK TOGETHER.
We have seen many times before just how generous the people of Pukekohe are.
As we all know, the nights are getting cold and 213 Franklin children have been identified by their teachers as needing a pair of nice warm pyjamas to keep them toasty on these chilly nights.
We are very grateful for the generous donations we have received so far. These pyjamas go direct to the children in our community who have been identified as needing them now.
Here are numbers and sizes of pyjamas we are short of.
Size
4: Boys x 4
5: Boys x 19, Girls x 4
6: Boys x 16
7: Boys x 13
8: Boys x 15, Girls x 18
9: Girls x 5
10: Boys x 37, Girls x 15
11: Boys x 15, Girls x 15
12: Girls x 20
14: Girls x 3
16: Boys x 4, Girls x 5
Total pairs needed: Boys 125, Girls 88
Pyjamas can be left at Franklin County News, Pukekohe Travel, Top Notch or Pukekohe Anglican Church or text Jan on 0274521 366 and we will arrange for them to be collected. Maybe you could collect some for us at your office or place of work or amongst your friends.
Thank you for supporting our local community as we try to keep our children warm and out of hospital.
This is a Middlemore Foundation project run with our Franklin Health Locality, Pukekohe Community Action and Pukekohe Anglican Church plus our wonderful community.
MANY MANY THANKS
Calling All Puzzle Masters! Can You Solve This?
When John was six years old he hammered a nail into his favorite tree to mark his height.
Ten years later at age sixteen, John returned to see how much higher the nail was.
If the tree grew by five centimetres each year, how much higher would the nail be?

Live Q&A: Garden maintenance with Crewcut
This Wednesday, we are having another Neighbourly Q&A session. This time with John Bracewell from Crewcut.
John Bracewell, former Black Caps coach turned Franchisee Development Manager and currently the face of Crewcut’s #Movember campaign, knows a thing or two about keeping the grass looking sharp—whether it’s on a cricket pitch or in your backyard!
As a seasoned Crewcut franchisee, John is excited to answer your lawn and gardening questions. After years of perfecting the greens on the field, he's ready to share tips on how to knock your garden out of the park. Let's just say he’s as passionate about lush lawns as he is about a good game of cricket!
John is happy to answer questions about lawn mowing, tree/hedge trimming, tidying your garden, ride on mowing, you name it! He'll be online on Wednesday, 27th of November to answer them all.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
