Sally and Steve Walters live on Ridge Road in Pokeno. They asked for signs to be erected to warn motorists of the S bend, the overall speed limit to be lowered and advisory speed signs placed at the sharp corners.
After contacting the council with their concerns, it has begun to address them.

Is there anyone out there who can either help or may know of someone in the Franklin area who has a small aviary ? It's sad to see this lovely little bird talking to the wild birds who come in when his cage is on verandah. Can someone help to give him a fuller life? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
