Glorious tulips at Longbush Cottage - don't miss the Festival!

Fresh photos are just in of the majestic tulips at Longbush Cottage!
Over the past six years, Luke Gardner has planted thousands of tulips throughout the garden, 15 minutes from Carterton. This year alone he has planted an additional 6000 bulbs from 35 varieties this year,! Make sure you see this display at the Longbush Cottage Tulip Festival next weekend - Saturday and Sunday, 1 - 2 October, 10am-4pm. Tickets are just $10 from Eventfinder (or come into either the Masterton or Martinborough i-SITE Visitor Centres) or $15 at the gate - Eftpos and cash available onsite at the Tulip Festival.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
