Halloween Fun (Oct 31) at Queen Elizabeth Park!
What fun was had last night: Every year the island in Queen Elizabeth Park is turned into a scare zone with lots of great activities for families. This year MDC are extending out to include Coronation Hall and the green space around Queen Elizabeth Park Island - today it's known as Halloween Island!
Lots of fun activities including:
• Face painting
• Decorations
• HalloWings - take a selfie in front of them
• Halloween Photo Opportunities
• High Scare Zombie Zone
• Low Scare Halloween Zone
• Roaming Halloween Characters
• Spot prizes for best dressed
And scare yourself silly at the Wai Techs Halloween Haunted House

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
