This Saturday is the BOOKSHOP HOP - be into win!

The Team from Destination Wairarapa

This Saturday (Oct 8th) is the Wairarapa Bookshop Hop; a collaborative event to celebrate New Zealand Bookshop Day. The best booksellers in Wairarapa have come together to give you the ultimate book-lovers day out.
One of the (many) great things about Wairarapa is we have 13 fantastic bookshops all within 30 minutes - or less - drive of one and other, so it's entirely possible for you to hop around all 13 bookshops in a single day! Pick up a brochure from any of the stores and collect stamps along the way with a purchase at each store. Each stamp puts you in the draw to win $650 in bookshop vouchers!
Many of the stores will also run their own promotions on the day and the map includes special food and beverage offers from Finom Kitchen in Carterton and The White Swan in Greytown.
All the details are here www.mrsblackwell.com...
Participating bookshops: Carterton - Almo's Books, Take Note; Featherston - Chicken and Frog, Featherston Ferret, For The Love of Books, Messines Bookshop, Mr Feather's Den, The Dickensian Bookshop; Greytown - Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop; Martinborough - The Martinborough Bookshop; Masterton - Bear Flag Books & Retro, Hedleys Books, PaperPlus.

Poll: Are domestic flights with Air NZ out of your budget?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

A Tauranga man has filed a complaint with the Commerce Commission, claiming that due to dynamic pricing, it’s cheaper for him to fly to Los Angeles than to book a flight for his daughter from Tauranga to Wellington.

Do you think their pricing needs addressed to encourage more people to fly?

Wool needed please..

Claire from Masterton District

Hi, I'm collecting Wool for the elderly..I know lots of elderly people that love e to knit but sadly, they can't afford too anymore ...I would also like to donate some wool to the knitting club they have at the masterton library ..It's very cute watching the elderly get together and knit while they have tea and a biscuit...
Would anyone have any spare wool , please.. I'm happy to pay you back with some homemade baking..
Thank you.
