Flax for sale: $2 per plant

Malcolm from Carterton District

Hi Neighbours, hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather. We are pulling out excess flax plants; Phormium cookianum, a mountain flax. Softer form, more attractive habit with blue green foliage and suits drier conditions than P. tenax. Grows around 1.5m high to 2m in diameter. Wonderful for attracting tuis and bellbirds when in flower. Currently we have 70 plants available, trimmed and in bags at $2 per plant - many more coming over the next few months. Either buy now, or put in an order. Text message Anna on 021 55 2112. Address for pick up is 99 Hinau Gully Road, Carterton. Look for gargoyles on stone gateway. Cheers.

Price: $2
