Featherston Waste Water, the Consent currently being considered by SWDC for Rock Crushing plants and the already approved and operating Quarry on Underhill Road will be discussed at a community meeting on Thursday 18 February at 7pm. Key bodies have been invited to answer your questions. Please save the date and join in, if you have an opinion on traffic management, health concerns from silica dust/pollution (just 3.3km from town), noise, child safety at the sport ground, jeopardising the cycle trail that will share the same road, fragile eco-systems and waterways, eels, etc. Visit www.facebook.com...
