Rebecca from Carterton District

Pedal Ready are bringing the ReBicycle kids bike rodeo to Carterton School! Wednesday 2nd October 11am - 2pm. Fun for the whole family!

The rodeo includes a range of challenging obstacles for all abilities. Free bike fun for ages 3-10ish!
Some bikes and helmets will be available but bring your own if you can. Pedal Ready instructors will be on hand to help kids learn to ride, build confidence on their bikes or do a basic bike safety check. We will also have bike mechanic, Marianne Draier, to do free small fixups on your bike!

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
