Old potty stool or footstool
This potty stool was made by a qualified joiner in 1944 for his little daughter.
It could be used as a seat or footrest.
The lid lifts up and it can be used for storage ( newspaper etc)
Solidly made and a nice do-er-upper project.
There is a hole in the bottom where the potty went .
Measurements:
Height 35cms
Width 44cms
Depth 32 cms
The top is hand done needlework but would probably need removing and either cleaning or replacing.
I think it is made of RImu. Dark stained.
Strongly built.
A not too difficult project to do.
Thankyou for looking.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
