Solway College fundraiser at Daffodil Festival
Solway College's fundraising group will be selling some of our delicious fundraiser honey at a stall in Memorial Square as part of Carterton's Daffodil Festival on Sunday. We'll also have tartan items in the college Ferguson tartan to sell and some raffles with fabulous prizes. Look out for our stall and support our fundraising efforts. Thanks! PS If you can't get along to the stall but want to buy some honey or tartan items, email scoop@solwaycollege.school.nz
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
