Winter is in full swing and you may be stuck for weekend ideas. We have a great one for you. Go check out the scenic and historic Wollen Mills dam in the Korokoro Valley. When there is plenty of rain, the site is more dramatic.

Nice lunch and good price.
Many people are quick to moan and complain.
This is the opposite.
I was thinking of getting KFC for lunch yesterday, but thought I would try something a little better.
So, i popped into "The Sultans Boofiya Kitchen" at 308 Queen Street, Masterton.
For $13 I got a lunchtime special of curry ( my choice was Rogan Josh ), fried rice, a big naan bread and a drink.
Got it home and dare i say, it was perfect.
I actually had enough ( for me ) for two meals.
The quality and taste were excellent and I think the value was outstanding.
The staff were also very friendly.
I think their menu is very good and is not all Indian cuisine, so a bit of variety for everyone.
I encourage you all to check them out.
