23rd November 2019 between 10am and 2pm. The aim of the day is to bring our community and families together in support of Carter Court and our residents. It will also act as a fundraiser.
The Market Day will feature stalls with local crafts and produce, entertainment, Devonshire Tea, a variety of food and refreshments, raffles and other fundraising events. For the kids there will be face painting, a bouncy-castle, horse and cart rides and mini-model railway!
Carter Court benefits from the generosity of our communities. Please take some time out to come along, bring the kids and show your support!

For the month of November, we want to raise awareness and work together to end all forms of violence including family harm, elder and child abuse, sexual assault, gang violence, and more. These victimisations affect us all and can have lasting effects that spill into our everyday lives including at work and school.
To do your part this month, perhaps consider supporting a women’s refuge or work with Police in your area to host an info night on how to identify elder or child abuse in your community. This month’s campaign also coincides with White Ribbon Day on 25 November which is an internationally celebrated day that aims to prevent violence towards women.

The vehicle was involved in a fleeing driver incident in the Lansdowne area, which was quickly abandoned due to the nature of driving.
Police said two pedestrians crossing Opaki Road may have been almost hit by the vehicle.
Police would like to speak to them to ensure their wellbeing, as well as anyone else who may have seen the vehicle.

Pukaha Mt Bruce are holding their annual fundraising Garden Tour on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November. They need volunteers to greet the public, provide directions and keep an eye on proceedings to keep the tour fun and successful.
Volunteers will be stationed at one of 11 gardens, mostly around Masterton with a handful in Eketahuna.
Hours are 9.30am to 4.30pm, split into morning and afternoon shifts. Volunteers are given a free ticket to the event, so you can visit the other gardens over the rest of the weekend.
