Recipe - Spiced Lamb
Here's a quick and easy recipe to try:
Nadia Lim's Indian-Spiced Lamb with Yellow Rice and Date Yoghurt.
This is what you need, the method is in the link:
2 cups basmati rice
3 cups water
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Indian spice mix (see recipe below)
1 brown onion
2 carrots
600g lamb mince
2 cloves garlic
¼ cabbage
2 tablespoons Indian spice mix (see recipe below)\
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons finely grated ginger
Pinch chilli flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 Lebanese cucumber (or ½ telegraph cucumber)
50g chopped dates
¾ cup natural yoghurt
3 teaspoons mild curry powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
