Cats have featured in fiction for a very long time. As a child growing up you would have had stories read to you about cats e.g., The Cat in the Hat. In NZ fiction there are many cats, none so better known than Slinky Malinki.
The Drury Community Library has a cat corner. Lots of books about cats and the librarians have been putting up there own cat figurines, pictures and sculptures.
Come and have a look and perhaps add one of yours.
