On Friday I attended a concert at the Walter Nash Stadium (brilliant). Not my thing, but enjoyed by the majority. The compare's attire was impressive , as were the orchestra and the guest artists The mayor of Hutt City Council introduced the concert, but who would've known who he was. He was wearing a casual suit and no tie, really. One would've expected to recognise Him by way of his appearance. At the very least he should have worn a tie. Really MR MAYOR if you were at the Wellington town hall you probably would have been wearing a dress suit and your Mayoral chain of office . Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
