Homelessness
Council’s Policy and Regulatory Committee last night voted unanimously for a package of measures to prevent homelessness in the city and assist those without a home.
The committee’s recommendation will go to a full Council meeting tonight for consideration.
If Council accepts the committee’s recommendations, Council’s Community Plan Committee will discuss funding the initiatives at a meeting on 8 May.
The Policy and Regulatory Committee recommended option one, which is included in a report that can viewed via the link below.
