Important information for visitors

Te Omanga Hospice

Te Omanga Hospice welcomes visitors to our hospice but please make sure you are well before you come. Help us protect our patients by not visiting if you are unwell, in self-isolation, or have the following symptoms: a cough, a temperature (at least 38 degrees), shortness of breath.

If you are unsure whether you should visit or not, please check with us first by calling 04 569 7921.

All visitors must come through the main door of the hospice, sign in and use hand sanitiser.

Thank you for helping keep our hospice safe for everyone.

Work and Income Lower Hutt is Moving

Ministry of Social Development

Our Work and Income Service Centre at 317-327 High St, Lower Hutt, will close permanently at 12 pm on Friday 28 February 2025 as the building is being demolished. We'll re-open at 28 Dudley St, Lower Hutt in May 2025.

We can still meet with you at one of our other service centres and you can:

· Login to MyMSD
· Call us on 0800 559 009 (Work and Income)
· Call us on 0800 552 002 (Senior Services)

There’ll be a secure drop box to leave paperwork and forms from 1 pm Wednesday 5 March at Colonial House, 270 High St, Lower Hutt (opposite Woolworths).
