5 NZ 'attractions' that don't live up to the hype

Hey neighbours,

Planning a trip around Aotearoa in the near future? Well, you can cross these five spots off your must-visit list.

From Taupō's self-described "iconic" Huka Prawn Park and the overcrowded sand baths at Coromandel's Hot Water Beach, to the decidedly average Moeraki Boulders in Waitaki - there are some places that just aren't worth your time or money.

Have you visited any of the 'attractions' on our list? Do you agree that they are overrated? If not, what makes them so great?
