Breakfast on the Green -- POSTPONED

Christine from Maungaraki

Sadly, the weather forecast for 18 November is for rain and southerlies; not the best of conditions for an outdoor event. We have made the decision to cancel the Breakfast on the Green this Sunday and reschedule it for later in the summer.

The new date for the Maungaraki Scouts' "Breakfast on the Green" fundraiser is Sunday, 10 February 2019.

The RAFFLE will proceed as planned on Sunday 18 November.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased raffle tickets. The winning numbers will be drawn in the Scout Hall at 12:30pm. Raffle winners will be telephoned and arrangements made to deliver your prizes to you.

Poll: Should employees be able to work from home?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

At the post-Cabinet press conference, the National Party asserted they want public sector staff to return to the office. This has opened a conversation about other sectors in New Zealand who have adopted working from home (WFH).

Where possible, do you think employees should be able to work from home? Vote below and share your thoughts in the comments.
