Introducing our AMI Community Grant Finalists

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

This is day number seven of showcasing two of our AMI Community Grant finalists to share a bit more about the great work that they're doing in Kiwi communities. You can help support these organisations by voting for them to win their share of $20,000.

Kidz need Dadz NZ
Our services provide a range of programmes for all Dads, and a weekly support group. Our programmes are Dad focused, being a new parent, parenting with teens, understanding relationships. Any funds raised are used to support Dads in these areas as well as provide for community events that we run through the year. VOTE NOW!

Free For All
Free For All is a community focused initiative that promotes the sharing of resources by saving usable items from the landfill and then giving the items away free of any cost or conditions. We have recently opened a free, appointment based, op shop where the community can come shopping for needs and wants with no questions or judgements. We need help with day to day running costs; rent, power, petrol and advertising, to help make the community aware of what is available to them. VOTE NOW!

What's your favourite tomato recipe?

Mei Leng Wong Reporter from NZ Gardener & Get Growing

Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
