Summer Pools Open! ๐ŸŠ

Jamie Dobson from Hutt City Council

Todayโ€™s the day! McKenzie Baths and Wainuiomata Summer Pool are open for the summer season ๐ŸŠ

It should come as no surprise we have additional health and safety measures in place in the face of COVID-19 and to reflect Alert Level 2 requirements.

Here are some golden rules for you to follow if you plan to make a trip to take a dip:

โœ… Scan in using the NZ COVID tracer app

โœ… Keep a two metre distance from others (who are not in your bubble)

โŒ Please stay home if youโ€™re feeling unwell โ€“ and if you have cold or flu symptoms please get tested!

Our team will be closely monitoring visitor numbers to enforce limits (these vary depending on the size of the facility, but essentially mean we are operating at half-capacity).

Thank you in advance for following the above guidance โ€“ it helps us keep everyone safe, and our facilities open for our community to enjoy.
