2007 Volkswagen Passat Variant3.2V64m
A nice VW Passat Wagon Variant3.2V64m
I'm not sure what is "standard" in this model, but it comes with some nice features such as:
Heated leather seats
Electric seats/mirrors/windows
Bluetooth/CD player
Good speaker system
Magnetic phone mount
Window shade screens
Lighted visor mirrors
Immobiliser
Full spare
Recently had a ton of work done on this, including:
New timing chain, chain sensor
CV Boots
Oil change
The interior and exterior is reasonably tidy for it's age, but does have some small nocks and scratches commensurate with it's age.
The biggest flaw in this car is the patch of delaminated paint on the hood, and a crack in one of the speaker covers. The "Adaptive Front Lighting System" says it's failing, but a few mechanics have looked at it and don't see anything wrong with it, so it's probably a sensor or computer issue. I think that's what the lightbulb warning is as well. There's a small tear in the floor upholstery on the driver's side as well.
Strongly suggest stopping by to have a look before bidding.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?

Begonia house to be demolished at botanic gardens
It's outrageous that the Wellington City Council are going to demolish the Begonia house at the Botanic gardens. This is an asset. One would have thought the green faction of the council would have supported fixing it. It's strange no one has questioned the price required to fix it. Cycle ways more important than begonia house i think not
