This letter to the people of Lower Hutt is how Council plans to get the basics right.
Our ten year plan supports our city in response to pressure from growth and decades of underinvestment by investing in our core infrastructure and services.
I’m looking forward to working with you to deliver our ten year plan and build a city that we can be proud to call home.

Begonia house to be demolished at botanic gardens
It's outrageous that the Wellington City Council are going to demolish the Begonia house at the Botanic gardens. This is an asset. One would have thought the green faction of the council would have supported fixing it. It's strange no one has questioned the price required to fix it. Cycle ways more important than begonia house i think not
