REF 3025 - Sports Helper
This Lower Hutt organisation needs Sports enthusiasts to assist with small groups of early teenagers, including working on team building activities as well as any individual sports that you would like to share. This role is suitable for a more mature volunteer with good life experience and some knowledge of youth at risk.

REF 5675 - Crisis Support Worker (Female)
This challenging role in the Hutt Valley is one of providing support to the specialist crisis workers on an on-call basis for call-outs. The organisation provides free support and counseling to women, men and children. Must be an empathetic and outstanding communicator who is able to work under pressure.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
