Christmas Pop Up event, Kelson Primary School, Thursday 8 December
UPDATE: Due to poor weather the Kelson Christmas Pop-Up has been postponed to Friday 9 December, same time, same location.
Christmas is almost upon us. You are invited to join us in pop up carols and to spread a little Christmas cheer from 6pm – 8pm this Thursday night at Kelson Primary School, Taieri Cres, Kelson
The Christmas Pop-ups will include a hilarious 30-minute Pantomime written specifically for Lower Hutt by Geraldine Brophy (Nextstage Theatre Company) and a travelling band of Christmas carollers full of contagious Christmas spirit which will get audiences of all ages on their feet celebrating the season!
As all events are outdoors – if the weather doesn’t behave, we will look to postpone the event until later in December. Any information on postponements will be made on Neighbourly, Facebook.com/inthehutt and on hutt.nz from noon on the day of the event.
Can’t make this event? There are six other pop up carols events scheduled around Lower Hutt, plus the big one, Christmas in Dowse Square on Saturday 17 December from 3pm – 9pm. Celebrate the classic Kiwi Christmas as Dowse Square is transformed into a campsite, sandy beach and road-trip themed selfie trail. Enjoy live music and entertainment, delicious food trucks and fun activities.
