Get vaccinated!
The Hutt City Council is reminding everybody to get vaccinated and stick to your bubble.
"We have five vaccination centres in Lower Hutt, on High St, in Epuni, Wainuiomata, Boulcott and Waiwhetu. The wonderful crew in Waiwhetu performed over 300 vaccinations yesterday! If you're over 40 or in groups 1, 2 or 3 you can book your vaccinations now. Those aged 30+ will be able to book theirs from this Wednesday. Remember, if you're a parent or guardian your kids aged 12-15 can now receive their vaccinations when you get yours. Just call 0800 28 29 26 to make sure there's space during your booking."

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
