Covid is a reminder of just how much we rely on health professionals. One of those health professionals is Wellington Free Ambulance. We are lucky to have a free ambulance service and over the next few weeks it is likely to be under more pressure than normal. There are 500,000 people in the region and if 85,.000 text ONESIE to 3181 to donate $3, that would be an incredible $255,000, the cost of a new ambulance. Poll: Is it rude to take a full trolley to self-checkout?
Luckily self-checkout is pretty common in supermarkets these days and we generally use it to quickly buy a few things without the long lines. But perhaps it's appropriate to head there with your full trolley to skip the lines?

Message from Wellington Water
We have a water repair we need to carry out located outside 34 Belmont Terrace, Belmont.
In order to complete this work we will need to close the road with resident access only.
We will be booking this job in for repair on Friday 20th September 2024 with a letter drop to residents to be completed this week.
